Sarah's Spicy Citrus Salsa

  • 2 ruby red grapefruits
  • 3 navel oranges
  • ¾ cup jicama, diced
  • ¼ cup finely chopped cilantro
  • 2 to 3 jalapeno peppers or more to taste, chopped very finely
  • Juice of one lime

Slice ends of grapefruits and cut peeling off with a knife. Cut grapefruit cross-wise and pull fruit out of the skins. If there are big chunks of fruit, chop into smaller pieces. Prepare the oranges the same way. There will be a lot of juice in the bowl. Drain, and then add the rest of the ingredients. Toss gently.

Serve with tortilla or rice chips.
