Overnight Tulsa Traffic Mishaps

TULSA, OK -- Two overnight traffic accidents in Tulsa results in a driver getting a ride to the Tulsa County jail.

Tulsa Police say no one was hurt when a drunk driver hits a street sweeper at I-244 and 33rd West Avenue.

The accident happened shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday.

Police officers say a driver was drunk when he hit the street sweeper.

The sweeper had to be towed off and the driver of the other vehicle was taken to jail.

In an unrelated accident, a motorist ran his pickup truck into a parked pickup truck at 4th and Harvard overnight.

The driver told police officers he had something in his eye at the time of the accident.

Police say he was not hurt in the accident.
