OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma Senate is the next stop for a bill that would cut fees attached to speeding tickets.
House members voted 92-to-5 for the measure by Fairview state Rep. Jeff Hickman.
Hickman says state troopers in his northwestern Oklahoma district are reluctant to write tickets to struggling families who need the money for food or clothing.
