TULSA, OK -- Some needy kids will be dressed in denim thanks to a thoughtful Tulsa school. About 30 junior high students at Mingo Valley Christian School organized a Jeans for Teens Drive.
It took a bucket brigade of sorts to get all the jeans loaded into a truck bound for the John 3:16 Mission.
"Jeans are super important to junior high kids, so I thought it was a great thing for them to collect for John 3:16," said Xan Black with Mingo Valley Christian School.
Altogether, the kids gathered up 30 dozen pairs of jeans.
