LOCUST GROVE, OK -- The latest discovery of E. coli in Locust Grove well water is prompting more tests. Two dozen more private wells have now been tested by the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality.
That's in addition to the 74 wells tested last week.
One-in-four of those wells tested positive for E. coli, but investigators don't yet know if it's the same deadly strain of the bacteria traced back to the Country Cottage Restaurant last summer.
