Bill Would Require Generators At Nursing Homes

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The state House of Representatives has approved a bill requiring portable generators in nursing homes.

If the bill becomes law, the generators would be paid for with federal and state money.

State Rep. Corey Holland says the bill would also help protect nursing homes from frivolous lawsuits during disasters.
