Man Hit, Killed By Train In Norman

NORMAN, OK -- A man in his 20s died after being struck by a train Sunday night in Norman.

Norman police found the victim on the railroad tracks north of Robinson Street and Flood Avenue.

The victim's name has not been released.

Authorities are investigating what led to the incident.

"The conductor of the train actually called it in," Norman Police Lt. Blake Green said. "We don't know exactly why the individual was that close to the tracks at this time."
