BROKEN ARROW, OK -- State investigators are taking over a investigation into a possible bidding scheme at Broken Arrow Public Schools.
The school district has been accused of violating competitive bidding laws to give preferential treatment to Air Assurance.
The owners of the heating and cooling company have repeatedly said they won the bid fair and square.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation collected 500 documents from Broken Arrow Police on Friday.
A spokesperson says the agency is taking over because it has someone who specializes in white-collar crime.
