Funeral Set For Tulsa Soldier Killed In Iraq

TULSA, OK -- The full-military funeral of a 23-year-old Tulsa soldier who was killed in Iraq last week has been set.

Cpl. Stephen Thompson's funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday in the Mason Chapel at Asbury United Methodist Church.

Thompson will buried at Floral Haven Cemetery.

Thompson died last Friday after being shot while riding in an armored vehicle.

He had been in Iraq more than 11 months and was supposed to come home in March.
