TULSA, OK - An insurance crisis has been resolved. Community Care and Hillcrest Healthcare System announced on Tuesday evening that they have reached a contract agreement.

That means thousands of patients in eastern Oklahoma will not have to change their doctors.

Hillcrest and Community Care were at an impasse over how much to reimburse hospitals and doctors for their services. They had continued negotiations, but warned patients that they might have to change doctors.

Tuesday's announcement allows patients to continue care uninterrupted.
