Tulsa Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested In Claremore

One bank robbery suspect is in custody and two others have been identified and are being sought by Tulsa Police.

***EDITOR'S NOTE:  Investigators cleared Jeremiah Statler in connection wit the Arvest robbery on February 12th, 2009.  He is no longer considered a suspect in the bank robbery.

TULSA, OK -- One bank robbery suspect is in custody and two others have been identified and are being sought by Tulsa Police. 

Police Sgt. Dave Walker says 29-year old Jeremiah Statler was picked up outside a Claremore motel Friday afternoon. 

Statler is charged with the January 29 robbery of the Arvest Bank branch at 4825 E 36th Street.

Statler is the second bank robbery suspect arrested this week.

Earlier this week, Tulsa Police obtained arrest warrants for 26-year-old Ronald Cox and 21-year-old Jacob Poole. 

Walker says Cox and Poole have been identified as the men who robbed the First Fidelity Bank at 8120 S. Yale on January 16.
