OU Teams Ranked Number 2

Oklahoma's men's and women's basketball teams both are ranked No. 2 in this week's Associated press college basketball polls.

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma's men's and women's basketball teams both are ranked No. 2 in this week's Associated press college basketball polls.

And in both polls, the two OU squads trail No. 1-ranked Connecticut.

The 21-1 OU men moved up to the second spot from the No. 4 position after both Duke and Pittsburgh lost last week. The Sooners received five first-place votes.

Meanwhile, the 18-2 OU women remained at No. 2. Undefeated Connecticut stayed at No. 1 with their perfect 21-0 record and received all 45 first-place votes.
