UNDATED -- The warm-up is making a muddy mess for crews trying to restore power to the thousands of Oklahomans who are still in the dark.
There are 2,200 people in the Cherokee County area without power. Crews say they could have power back on early next week.
It could be weeks before some of the nearly 7,000 people in the hardest hit areas around Adair County have power.
Meanwhile, the lights are back on in Okmulgee. Representatives with East Central Electric Cooperative say they finished work on the last remaining homes.
