OWASSO, OK -- A former church worker at an Owasso church was arrested Thursday after being charged with sexual battery.

Sean Whisenhunt, 23, was booked into the Tulsa Jail shortly before 2 a.m. and was released on $2,000 bail several hours later. He was charged last week, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Whisenhunt, who worked with youth at Central Baptist Church, is accused of sexually abusing a teenage boy. The incident occurred earlier this month at Whisenhunt's home, according to court documents and an arrest report.
