Cowboy Wrestling Loses To Top-Ranked Iowa

STILLWATER, OK -- The No. 13 Oklahoma State wrestling team lost to top-ranked Iowa 20-13 today.

Individual winners for the Cowboys included 125-pounder Obenson Blanc, a 5-2 winner over J.J. Krutsinger, 157-pounder Neil Erisman, who won 4-1 win over Matt Ballweg, 197-pounder Clayton Foster, who had a 9-1 major decision win over Brodie Ambrose, and heavyweight Jared Rosholt, who took a 9-5 win over No. 12 Dan Erekson.

The dual featured several close matches, including the 165- and 174-pound matches, but the swing matches ended in favor of the Hawkeyes.

Oklahoma State returns to action on January 25, when the Cowboys travel to No. 3 Iowa State.
