LINCOLN, Neb. -- Courtney Paris had 18 points and 20 rebounds and fourth-ranked Oklahoma opened Big 12 play with a 77-56 victory over Nebraska on Saturday night.
The Sooners (12-2, 1-0 Big 12) won their eighth straight and beat Nebraska (9-5, 0-1) for the 10th time in 11 meetings.
Oklahoma was never threatened after scoring the first 15 points on its way to a 44-23 advantage.
Dominique Kelley led Nebraska with 12 points, all in the second half.
The Sooners got a scare in the game's first minute when Paris tangled up with Nebraska's Catheryn Redmon going for a rebound. The 3-time All-American fell hard, dinged her right knee and had to go to the bench for a couple minutes.
Paris moved around just fine when she came back.
