Lawsuit Against School Board Withdrawn

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- A lawsuit filed against three members of the Broken Arrow School Board has been withdrawn.

Broken Arrow businessman John Lare had filed the suit in October against school board members, Maryanne Flippo, Sharon Whelpley and Shari Wilkins.

In a related action, a Tulsa County District Court judge recently ruled Lare's grand jury petition had fallen short of the 5,000 required qualified signatures. That petition has been withdrawn as well.
