OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- Tulsa is among four Oklahoma cities which have projects included on a list sent to Congress by the U.S. Conference of Mayors as part of a request for federal money.
The other Oklahoma cities on the list are Norman, Ponca City and Moore.
Mayors from across the U.S. are asking Congress to fund the projects as part of a federal economic stimulus package.
The proposal include improvements to public buildings, roads, streets, bridges, water systems and public transportation.
The Tulsa list has 50 projects amounting to $725,206,823 that could create about 3,774 jobs next year and in 2010.
