Military Gets Support From Tulsa Partnership

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa's support for our military is reaching new heights.

On Wednesday, the city, along with support from Tulsa International Airport and American Airlines, announced a new partnership with the Transport Workers Union Local 514.

Together the four organizations pledged their support and funding for the Airport's Military and Veterans Resource Lounge.

"This room will provide a place to say last minute goodbyes or to gather their thoughts and pray for their families, safe keeping until they return home," said Steve Luis of the Tulsa Workers Union Local 514.

The lounge officially opened last year, but with the new partnership the airport will be able to double the size of the lounge to accommodate even more military members and their families.
