Tulsans Get Chance For Reconnection

TULSA, OK -- Some Tulsans got a chance to reconnect with their loved ones on this thanksgiving.

U.S. Cellular offered free wireless phone calls to residents at the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless.

Lots of people made calls and there were quite a few special moments.

"We did have an opportunity for a lady to call her mother and let her know that she's having twins, so that was a pretty cool story. She didn't think she'd be able to reach out and let her mother know that she isn't going to have one baby, but two," said Nancy Fratze of U.S. Cellular. 

The folks from U.S. Cellular say it felt great to help those people reconnect with their family and friends.
