JENKS, OK -- With all the cooking, crowded gatherings and out of town trips for the holiday, many pet owners are opting to take their furry friends to doggie daycares.  One business is ready to pamper your pooch.  Woodland West Pet Center says Wednesday is the busiest doggie drop off day of the year.  Hundreds of dogs will spend the holiday with them.  And, they promise to give them star treatment.

It's a one stop shop where dogs check in daily, but this time of year, pet parents are especially thankful for Woodland West

"We're going to Fort Worth for Thanksgiving," said Mindy Ferland.

"Where we're going there's a couple of Rottweilers and a German Shepherd.  So, we're confident there'd be a fight," said Mike and Jake

Like more than 300 other dogs, Venus is staying at Woodland West Pet Care Center.

Woodland West says all of their guests are in for a treat.

"It is the pet resort.  It's not just a boarding facility," said Dr. Mike Jones.

And, pampering your pooch starts with check in.  There are play yards; one on one play time, professional grooming, and luxury suites are available.

"It has an internet camera. Dogs have their own patio and it has a bed.  Again those are all booked up and if you ever want one on a holiday you better call early," said Dr. Mike Jones with Woodland West Pet Care Center.

With twice the dogs during the holiday, those are sometimes booked a year in advance.

For Thanksgiving Day, there will be a special dinner.

"We try to mix it up for those who are year after year.  This year, it will be a nice hamburger and rice mixture. Not too bad so nobody gets sick," said Dr. Mike Jones with Woodland West Pet Center.

Plus, the staff works hard to make sure no one gets home sick either.

"It's a crazy time, but we actually love it," said Dr. Mike Jones.

Woodland West Pet Care Center also takes birds, lizards, and other smaller animals.
