Apartment Fire Causes Evacuation

TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa Fire marshal is investigating a suspicious fire overnight at an apartment complex.

Tulsa firefighters were called to about 5th and Lewis around 11 p.m. Thursday.

A Tulsa Police officer on patrol spotted the fire and police immediately started a search to get people out.

A couple of officers took in smoke while searching the apartment complex, but were treated at the scene and Police say they will be okay.

Two apartment units were damaged.

Tulsa Firefighters say the owner had turned off all utilities on November 15 because the complex has been sold.
