TULSA, OK -- A respiratory virus has sidelined Celine Dion and that means no concert in Tulsa on Thursday.
Dion's "Taking Chances World Tour" has postponed four shows, including the Tulsa concert this week.
Dion's physician has instructed her to refrain from singing in order to completely recover.
The tour's promoter, AEG Live said in a statement, "Her doctor stated that despite antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, bronchodilators and mucolytic agents prescribed for her condition, she has continued to worsen and he insists that she refrain from singing for the next five days, in order for her to recover completely."
The BOK Center says Celine Dion will now perform on Monday, February 2, 2009.
All tickets previously purchased will be honored at the February concert and refunds will be available at point of purchase.
