Elderly Woman Killed In Wreck

BARTLESVILLE, OK -- A 90-year old Bartlesville woman was killed Monday night in a U.S. Highway 75 accident.

Bartlesville Police say Pauline Ely was driving north in the southbound lanes when her vehicle struck a southbound car head-on.

Police Chief Tom Holland says Ely was killed instantly.

The driver of the other car was taken to a Bartlesville hospital with what Holland said was non-life threatening injuries.

The accident shut down the highway in both directions for over an hour Monday evening.
