TULSA, OK -- Nearly 1,900 horses from around the world were in Tulsa for the two week long Arabian Horse Show. The event has come and gone for this year, but for a Broken Arrow woman the Arabian Horse Show is a year round event.
Roseann Lobser is calling her Arabians.
"It pays to own an Arabian just to watch 'em run," said Roseann Lobser.
She has loved them since she was in college.
"They are very intelligent. I run a summer camp here. I teach little kids how to ride, and these Arabians love to have kids on them," said Roseann Lobser.
And, she says they really like to show off. Years ago, Roseann got to ride in the Tournament of Roses Parade. Now, she makes the costumes for both the rider and the horse.
She also creates original pottery pieces, but it's the horses that are her first love and when she shows them off she wants to see them on the run.
Roseann boards, trains and sells horses as well as designing and making the costumes. You can contact Roseann Lobser at 918-855-9676.
