Induction Ceremony Held At Music Hall Of Fame

MUSKOGEE, OK -- News On 6 anchor Lori Fullbright helped honor some of Oklahoma's music legends.

She emceed the induction ceremony Wednesday night at the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame.

In this year's class:  Muskogee-born songwriter Chick Rains and The Godfather of Red Dirt Music" Bob Childers.

The Wichita and Affiliated Tribe was honored in the Tribal Music Traditions Category.  And, the famed Cherokee National Youth Choir won the Governor's Award.

The headliners at Wednesday night's concert were Stillwater's All-American Rejects, who were named this year's Rising Stars.
