Cause Of Death Unknown In Boy's Death

CHELSEA, OK -- No charges have been filed in the death of a Chelsea boy. Five months after his death, the medical examiner says he can't find the cause of death.

Police found the body of 1-year-old Marshall Card on April 25th, when they answered a 911 call from his home. He was three days away from his second birthday.

The Rogers County prosecutor says the medical examiner's report is puzzling.

"The cause of death is undetermined, so, uh, everybody's just, it's just kind of hard to figure that one out, what happened on that," said Rogers County District Attorney Gene Haynes.

The boy's parents, Patricia Ann Folk and Richard Michael Card, are in the Rogers County jail on drug charges.

A judge ordered the three other children in their home to be removed from their custody.
