Child Dies After Being Crushed By TV

A Tulsa baby is crushed to death by a television.  Tulsa Police say it happened just after 7 o'clock Wednesday night in the 2300 block of South 137^th East Avenue.

Police say two kids were wrestling when one of them hit a 37-inch TV, knocking it off a dresser and onto a 23-month old boy.

"The child's nine-year-old brother pulled the TV off of the child and then ran and got the parents," said Tulsa Police Captain Ryan Perkins.

EMSA crews transported the child from the home at the Somerset Apartments in critical condition.  The boy died at a Tulsa hospital.
