Racers Dream Becoming Reality

Russ Dugger will compete in NASCAR's Craftsman Truck Series.

Talk about chasing your dreams, an Owasso man's drive is paying off. You may remember Russ Dugger, he spoke with the News On Six last year when he auditioned for a NASCAR racing team.

On Saturday, he raced in Tulsa for the last time. In October he'll make his NASCAR debut.

"I'm pretty excited. I have a goal that number one I want to finish the race. Number two I want to gain the respect of the drivers that have been there so long. There's a lot of experience that I can learn from," said Dugger.

Dugger will compete in NASCAR's Craftsman Truck Series. His first race is October 18th in Virginia.
