Driver Injured In Turnpike Accident

A Bixby man is in a Tulsa hospital Friday morning after a wreck on the Creek Turnpike.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 23-year old Kenneth Arenson was westbound when he lost control and left the turnpike.

Arenson's vehicle hit a small highway sign and then a tree head on.

Firefighters had to help get Arenson out of his vehicle.

At last word, Arenson was listed in stable condition with head, arm and leg injuries.
