TULSA, Okla. -- The Tulsa Performing Arts Center has recently finished replacing its old seats just in time for the upcoming season.
"The PAC staff has done a wonderful job over the years maintaining the existing seats in a presentable and working condition," said PAC Director John Scott. "However with 31 seasons of wear, including pop spills and countless squished Junior Mints, the upholstery was finally giving out and the squeaking springs became impossible to silence."
Patrons will be sitting pretty in the new seats and enjoying new carpet as well for the season opener, Tulsa Town Hall's presentation speaker, John Stossel on September 5.
The PAC renovations were funded by the Third Penny Sales Tax of 2001 and 2006.
