Deadly Crash Slows Traffic

One person is dead and two others injured in a fatal accident on the Broken Arrow Expressway in Broken Arrow. 

Broken Arrow Police say the accident in the eastbound lanes of the BA near Elm was caused when the driver of a Hyundai plowed into a van and another car as they sat on the shoulder of the highway.

Police say the Hyundai driver was not speeding.  A passenger in the Hyundai was killed. 

Two other people were hurt.   Their injuries are not life threatening. 

Broken Arrow Police have not released the victim's names.

Traffic on the BA Expressway was slowed for over hour while authorities cleaned up the accident scene.
