Bread Company Shares The Dough

Mrs. Baird's is celebrating a milestone by doing what it knows best:  baking.

In honor of its 100th birthday, Mrs. Baird's is donating 10,000 loaves of bread and 1,000 packets of doughnuts to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.  The food bank is then using the bread to put together 1,000 lunches for 11 local charities.

"Right now, our programs are experiencing about a 25% increase in requests for food.  So having this additional food to provide to them is a God send," said Sara Waggoner with the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

The donation from Mrs. Baird's is part of a nationwide movement to help feed America's hungry.
