It is going to be a hot weekend across much of Oklahoma.
The News On 6 WARN team says a heat advisory is in effect until Sunday at 10 p.m.
Sunshine will be the norm all weekend long.
Temperatures on Saturday will range from the upper 90's to 104 degrees. The same holds true for Sunday with highs in the upper 90's to 105 degrees.
Health officials are advising everyone to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air conditioned rooms and stay out of the sun. In addition, residents need to check on relatives and neighbors.
And be sure pets have plenty of fresh water and a source of shade.
