National College To Open Local Campus

There is a new college in Tulsa.

Brown Mackie College announced Friday morning that it is opening its first Oklahoma location, in Tulsa at 4608 S Garnett.

The school will initially offer diploma programs in Accounting, Business, Criminal Justice, Medical Assistant and Paralegal Assistant.

School leaders say the difference is in classes.

"That is truly what sets us apart, our unique delivery system. One course per month. Not intimidating, small classroom size, the relationship where you know your instructor, you have them available for tutoring and a small class size facility," said Denise Choquette with Brown Mackie College.

The first day of classes is set for October 6.

The school hopes to eventually become an accredited four-year institution.

There are 20 locations of the college around the country.
