The Tulsa Fire Department is investigating a deadly house fire. Firefighters say a passerby noticed the flames and called police to a home near the 3900 block of South 34th West Avenue.
Crews discovered a body during their search and rescue.
"Got the fire knocked down fairly rapidly. When we were doing search and rescue they have located one body inside the home, currently we have fire investigators on scene determining factors related to that," said TFD Captain Michael Baker.
A Tulsa firefighter was taken to the hospital for minor burns.
Captain Baker says there was $30,000 in damage to the house and there appears to be no foul play at this time.
