Meet Gimme The Mike! Week 5 Contestants

Season 5 of Gimme The Mike! premiers on Monday, July 7th and we are getting ready for one of the best competitions yet. Each week we have been getting to know some of the contestants.

The NewsOn6.com Web Exclusives Team traveled all over Green Country to learn more about the four people competing in week five of Gimme The Mike!

Kristyn Paschal is a Green Country native. Performing has always come naturally to her.

"Singing has always been a big part of my life, I'm just now taping into that particular chapter," said Paschal.

We caught up with Mandy Hill at Destiny Church in Broken Arrow. She loves to be on stage and appreciates a larger audience.

"If it's a giant crowd it doesn't bother me, if it's just one or two people it makes me nervous," said Hill.

Meet week five contestant Garret Gibson. We made it all the way out to Ralston, Oklahoma to meet with the budding talent. For the most part he has no problem belting it out.

"Every once in a while the butterflies will get me," said Gibson.

And last but not least, we found Ken Beard hard at work in Downtown Tulsa. He's proud to be the oldest of the bunch.

"It's a lot of fun; I'm having a good time. I kind of feel like I'm the father figure just along for the ride, having a really good time while it lasts," said Beard.
