DHS Shuts Down Day Care

DHS has issued an emergency order to shut down a Broken Arrow daycare. According to the agency, the license was revoked back in April, but the decision to shut down the center wasn't made until last week.

According to the state, the owner, Krina Hendricks, tried to keep her daycare running without power during the December Ice storm.

DHS says when its inspectors arrived, they found violations.

Hendricks is appealing the decision to shut her down. A hearing is scheduled for next month.
