Funeral services will be held on Friday for attorney Lori Kastner. Tulsa homicide detectives say her murder has become a complex case.
Kastner's husband, John, says an intruder came into their west Tulsa home Wednesday morning, killed his wife and shot him in the hand. Police say Mrs. Kastner was shot with the couple's gun. Detectives said there appeared to be no forced entry into the home. They are not releasing information about a suspect description.
They've served a half-dozen search warrants and interviewed a number of people.
"We try to encompass that whole time frame. It's a thorough investigation and we'll continue on. We plan on being on this case around the clock, through the weekend, if that's what it takes," said Sgt. Mike Huff with the Tulsa Police Major Crimes.
Friends say Lori Kastner will be remembered as a devoted mother and active member of the community.
