A Tulsa soldier returned home Thursday after a tour in Iraq.
It was a picture perfect homecoming for Staff Sergeant William Ree. His mother, his wife and three little girls greeted him at the airport.
Sergeant Ree spent a year in Iraq with the 325th Medical Unit. He says that experience changed his outlook on life.
"Everyday things you take for granted. From seeing real grass and real trees to driving your own car. Having a family to come home to everyday. Things like that," said Staff Sergeant William Ree.
Now that Sergeant Ree is home for good, he and his family are planning a well deserved vacation.
