Man Crashes Car Into Apartment

Tulsa Police are looking for a man who crashed a stolen car into an apartment complex. 

The accident happened at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at the River Park Apartments at 7803 S. Wheeling. 

Police say no one got hurt in the accident.  Officers tell the News On 6, the man was cruising around the apartment complex swearing at residents. 

One eyewitness, Joseph Fliege says he was coming home from the store when the suspect started insulting him.

Fliege says he just ignored the man and went up to his apartment.

"Hear a loud screech and a thunder noise and I open my door and the same guy that flipped me off came around the corner was doing 50 or 60 miles an hour and hit the apartment," said Joseph Fliege. 

Tulsa Police say the suspect put a large rock against the gas pedal, but stayed in the car anyway. 

After the suspect's vehicle hit the building, the suspect ran off on foot.  Police officers looked for the suspect in the area but did not find him. 

No one inside the damaged apartment was hurt.
