One Oklahoma man has the perfect spot to house a lot of weapons. Retired Colonel Bob Powell has his own museum. On Saturday, he opened it up to the public.
Powell says his Military History Museum was created for one purpose, to help people understand what war is about.
"We hope in the coming months to get it set up so that young people can come in, classes from school and have these wars explained to them to understand why wars were fought," said Retired Col. R.W. Bob Powell.
The museum is packed with memorabilia dating all the way back to the American Revolution, the Spanish-American War and Civil War.
The Museum is located in Tulsa on South 66th East Avenue.
