Court Hearing Delayed For Roxann Barnard

The mother of a murdered 4-year-old Claremore boy was scheduled to be arraigned in a Rogers County courtroom on Wednesday, but The News On 6 has learned the matter has been passed until Wednesday, June 4.

Roxann Barnard, the mother of Christopher Barnard, was arrested last month on a complaint of permitting child abuse.

Her husband, Steven Lockler, has been charged with the boy's death.

Claremore Police say Lockler admitted hitting the boy in the stomach twice with a closed fist. 

Police believe Barnard knew about the abuse because she talked about it during a counseling session.
