Former Lawmaker Indicted

A former state lawmaker faces federal charges.  A grand jury indicted Randall Erwin on seven counts Thursday.

The charges include conspiracy, mail fraud, and money laundering.

Investigators say Erwin and former state Representative Mike Mass got kickbacks after funneling state money to a phony non-profit owned by Steve Phipps.

Phipps and Mass have pleaded guilty and are cooperating with investigators.
