Ultimate Drive For The Cure

Tulsa residents took to the road on Wednesday, driving toward a cure for breast cancer.  Six In The Morning anchor LeAnne Taylor got the behind the wheel for the 12th year of the Ultimate Drive.

In all, 25 cars were all decked out with information and statistics about breast cancer.  For every mile someone drove one of the cars, BMW donated one dollar to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  And, 75% of that money stays in Tulsa.

"We use that to fund programs for women who don't have insurance so they can get mammograms.  We try to raise awareness.  We make sure they have taxi vouchers, wigs," said Christy Southard of the Tulsa Komen Foundation.
