BROKEN ARROW, OKLA. - Tournament officials for the SemGroup Championship presented by John Q. Hammons have announced that the "Pink Panther" Paula Creamer has committed to play the Cedar Ridge Country Club event on May 1 - 4.

"There is a lot of excitement around Tulsa and the LPGA Tour about the SemGroup Championship," said Tournament Director Doug Eibling. "The move to four rounds and a $1.8 million purse was just the start, now the players have responded and we've wrapped up 10 of 10 from last year's money list. Paula is always a great player to watch; her personality, skill, fashion sense and demeanor on the course make her a favorite to fans of all ages."

This will be Creamer's fifth year competing in the Tulsa event. She was the runner-up to Annika Sorenstam in 2005 and earned $91,111. Last year, Creamer was one of only 12 players to finish even-par or better. She finished T9. She also finished T39 in 2006 and T59 in 2004, while competing as an amateur. Creamer is 10th in all-time earnings in Tulsa.

Nicknamed the "Pink Panther" because she always wears pink, Creamer is a huge crowd favorite at each event she enters. In 2007, she earned $1,384,798 and was third on the Official Money List. She is also currently third in 2008 with $370,555.

Creamer has won five times in her career, including the Fields Open in Hawaii, the second event of 2008. She won her first career event, the 2005 Sybase Classic, four days before graduating high school. That victory put her in the record books as the youngest player to win a multi-round event. Two months later she won the Evian Masters, making her the youngest and fastest person to reach $1 million in career earnings. Creamer was the 2005 Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year.

Now entering its eighth year in the Tulsa area, the SemGroup Championship presented by John Q. Hammons has become one of the premier events on the LPGA Tour, annually attracting a top field of players, great crowds and tremendous community support.
