Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash

A deadly motorcycle crash near Owasso on Monday kills a Talala resident.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a horse trailer pulled out in front of the motorcycle near 76^th Street North and 177^th East Avenue.

The biker, 67-year-old Thomas Heinen, tried to slide his motorcycle to avoid a crash.  Instead, OHP troopers say the motorcycle somehow became latched to the side of the trailer and both Heinen and his passenger, 65-year-old Delores Heinen were thrown off.

Delores Heinen was transported by a medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital with numerous injuries.  She is currently listed in stable condition.
