A family hopes a reward may help provide some answers after their daughter was struck and killed by a minivan.
Funeral services are set for Tuesday for 17-year-old Crystal Strange of Checotah. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Strange was helping a schoolmate with a class project on Friday night. She was in the road posing as a model when a mini-van hit her.
The van took off and Crystal died later at the hospital. Investigators are still looking for the driver. The only description of the mini-van they have is a white Chevy with tinted windows.
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the driver. Anyone who may know something can call the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
