A former Hilldale High School principal fired last year has been hired by another nearby school district.
Dewayne Pemberton will be a full-time assistant principal at Muskogee High School for the 2008-09 year. The Muskogee board of education made the decision Tuesday night.
Pemberton was fired last year by the Hilldale School district, got his job back for a short time and earlier this year, dropped a lawsuit against the Hilldale School District concerning his firing.
