Students at Tulsa Mingo Valley Christian School are jumping at the chance to help young students and the environment. They're taking part in a program called "Jump Out." Its purpose is to give them leadership experience.
"It's a very exciting opportunity for students in our school to have the opportunity to show Christ's love to the community by serving and just helping out and giving back to the community," said Victoria McCabe, Mingo Valley Christian School.
Mingo Valley students planted over 50 trees on Wednesday at both Celia Clinton and Marshall Elementary to replace trees damaged in the ice storm. They also began drawing a mural at Celia Clinton.
